In 2003, we decided to do something that few other churches have done.  We started construction on an amphitheatre.  After years of building make-shift stages for different concerts, plays and other events, we decided it was time to make a permanent addition to our church facilities; a place that could be used for many different activities.  So far we have had “Night of the Stars” twice, “My Cross” Easter Drama, several concerts and even drive-in movie nights at the amphitheatre.  This year we decided to take it one step further, so we are in the process of renovating the entire back lot of our church to accommodate large scale concerts and other events.  In doing so, we have grassed in the entire area, built a new retaining wall, and constructed an entirely new playground facility.  We’re not through yet, but when we finish, we hope to have a fantastic facility that will potentially seat thousands!
